This is a view of the Groom's cake from the top. It was done by a local cake shop after giving them a rough outline of a meeple, as well as the actual Carcassonne scoring pieces. She did an amazing job with the shape, and it turned out perfect. In addition to looking great, it was a fantastic cake! (marble cake, with some cinnamon in the frosting. It was fantastic.)

The most asked question of the night was "So what is the Groom's cake supposed to be?" We put the meeples out in front of the cake, but in hindsight we should have laid down some Carcassonne tiles, and maybe even the game box, too.

Our trusty hero Trug IV, a Golem Chaos-Warrior (represented by '@'), explores a lesser vault of nasties. To his left stands a Master Vampire ('V'), while below is some sort of trap ('^'). Below the vault is a pack of Cold Hounds ('Z'). Vaults are special rooms in Angband containing very tough monsters that reward a careful player with exceptional treasures.
