The Marshall Plan gave Jeff an early grab in Europe. He would score more points in Europe most turns, but not significantly more. West Germany was the battleground country early, with Jeff wrestling control away from Jay. Poland would be next, with Jeff seizing it, but Jay tenaciously defending and kicking him out. But the most fought-after country was France. While the De Gaulle card was dodged successfully twice, Jeff was finally forced to play it in the late war. This kicked off a series of bloody realignment rolls and coups in France. At game end, Jeff would have more influence, but would not control.
