Janurary 14th - Work has kept me very busy lately, which has cut down on my blogging time. In addition, I'm upgrading the site to the latest version of my server software - Community Server v2.0. Please bear with me through this transition.

Tampa Recap (late post)
I just wrapped up a 4-day stay with Karl (my uncle) in Tampa. We were hoping to get in a Shuttle launch on Sunday, but a lack of tickets and reschedule due to weather killed that idea. Instead, we spent most of the time eating good food (Cuban & seafood) and playing some games. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hook up with the Florida Suncoast Gamers due to some miscommunication and driving distance issues. Maybe next time, guys! But here's a recap of what did get played: 2x Battle Line 1x Dreamblade 1x Twilight Struggle 1x Federation Commander 1x Arkham Horror Countless hours of World of Warcraft

Friday Night Gaming: Arkham Horror
I first played Arkham Horror when I visited Karl, my uncle, in Tampa earlier this year. We had been cruising the local game stores in the area, with Karl letting me pick out my Christmas present. (Less exciting this way, but at least I know I'll like...

Game Review: Twilight Struggle
March has seen a dry spell in my gaming activity. After four straight months of 25+ games played, I've only managed to get in 12 games so far, with only tonight's Lumbersmiths Friday Night Gaming to save me. But what lacked in quantity was made up for...

Two-player session reports
For some reason the last month has been filled with 2-player gaming. Our Friday night group hasn't met in several weeks, and I haven't made it to the Tuesday night Borders session, either. I usually prefer gaming in groups of 3 or 4, but the 2-player...

Friday Night Gaming: Capitol, Around the World in 80 Days, and Mississippi Queen
Friday night gaming last week was a blast. The plan was to play another Magic booster draft, but that fell through at the last minute, so we fell back to plan B - the standard Eurogame night with three players. It was me, Jay and Brandon over at Jay's...
