Janurary 14th - Work has kept me very busy lately, which has cut down on my blogging time. In addition, I'm upgrading the site to the latest version of my server software - Community Server v2.0. Please bear with me through this transition.

Five and Dimes for 2006
Just to get me in a writing mode again, I thought I'd do a quick "five & dime" post. This is fairly common practice among the Euro-game community - to recap the games played more than 10 times, and more than 5 times in the past year. These don't necessarily...

Tampa Recap (late post)
I just wrapped up a 4-day stay with Karl (my uncle) in Tampa. We were hoping to get in a Shuttle launch on Sunday, but a lack of tickets and reschedule due to weather killed that idea. Instead, we spent most of the time eating good food (Cuban & seafood) and playing some games. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to hook up with the Florida Suncoast Gamers due to some miscommunication and driving distance issues. Maybe next time, guys! But here's a recap of what did get played: 2x Battle Line 1x Dreamblade 1x Twilight Struggle 1x Federation Commander 1x Arkham Horror Countless hours of World of Warcraft

Pizza Box Football - Alternate Rules
Last month I got the chance to play my first game of Pizza Box Football with Jay. I bought this on my last big Thoughthammer purchase. I have a few beefs with the game, but my biggest complaint is how much time it takes considering you're just rolling...

Game Review: Twilight Struggle
March has seen a dry spell in my gaming activity. After four straight months of 25+ games played, I've only managed to get in 12 games so far, with only tonight's Lumbersmiths Friday Night Gaming to save me. But what lacked in quantity was made up for...
